NUTRITION PROGRAM

At Tomorrow’s Hope, we strive to teach our children the fun and interactive ways to lead a healthy life. The children explore diverse meals from around the globe and teachers educate them about other cultures while supporting a healthy immune system and brain development.

HEALTH SERVICES

A voluntary Kids’ Clinic is available for health assessments, and check-ups provided by Vicki Fox, ARNP, from Community Health ClinicStellar Kids Dentistry visits quarterly to demonstrate to the kids how to brush their teeth and how to prevent cavities. Washington State Smile Partners visit our preschool, pre-kindergarten, and Head Start classrooms to do dental check-ups and cleanings.

CHILD & FAMILY SPECIALIST

A Child and Family Specialist assists in designing classroom interventions, is available for immediate one-on-one intervention with a child, provides parent coaching, assists parents with navigating the school system, provides community referrals, and serves as a community engagement coordinator with school districts, community partners, and service agencies.

DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES

Each week, a ChildStrive Parent Educator provides on-site support for teachers to share their challenges and successes. She shares developmental information with them, and when appropriate, she can help facilitate connecting families to Early Intervention or other more targeted support.

Tomorrow’s Hope staff hold parent engagement events to bring parents into the classroom.

GARDENING PROGRAM

We are so lucky to have our very own gardening area. This has created opportunities for hands-on group and individual learning experiences that promote a love of gardening and develop an appreciation for the environment.
